Enjoy the morning at leisure before transfer to the Handelskai pier for embarkation from 4:00 PM. Settle into your cabin and enjoy a welcome cocktail on board. The ship remains docked overnight in Vienna.

After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Vienna (minimum 2 passengers), showcasing some of the Austrian capital’s most iconic landmarks, including the Opera House, Town Hall, Parliament, Burgtheater and the magnificent Imperial Hofburg Palace.

The afternoon is yours to explore Vienna at leisure. Around midnight, the ship departs the Austrian capital and begins sailing toward the scenic Wachau Valley.

This morning, arrive in Dürnstein, a picturesque riverside village nestled in the heart of the Wachau Valley. Step ashore and explore its charming historic centre on foot, passing through medieval gates and quaint streets toward Pranger Square. Admire views of the castle ruins high above the village, traditionally associated with the imprisonment of Richard the Lionheart. You may also wish to sample some of the Wachau region’s renowned local wines.

Around noon, continue cruising through the spectacular landscapes of the Wachau Valley before arriving in Melk. This charming town is best known for the magnificent Melk Abbey, dramatically situated above the Danube River. An optional visit to the Benedictine abbey may be available.

Later this afternoon, depart Melk and continue sailing toward Linz.

Today, arrive in Linz, the capital of Upper Austria and one of the Danube’s most historic trading cities. With its attractive Baroque architecture, lively squares and riverside setting, Linz offers a pleasant blend of history and contemporary culture.

Enjoy free time to discover the city at your own pace. Around lunchtime, return to the ship and continue cruising toward Bratislava.

Arrive in Bratislava early this morning. Join a guided sightseeing tour (minimum 2 passengers) through Slovakia’s charming capital, passing some of its most notable landmarks, including the National Theatre, St. Martin’s Cathedral, Michael’s Gate, the Old Town Hall and the impressive Bratislava Castle overlooking the city.

In the afternoon, depart Bratislava and continue cruising along the Danube toward Budapest.

After breakfast, arrive in Budapest, Hungary’s magnificent capital divided by the Danube into historic Buda and cosmopolitan Pest.

Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour (minimum 2 passengers), featuring many of the city’s celebrated landmarks, including the Hungarian Parliament Building, Opera House, Heroes’ Square, Central Market Hall, Chain Bridge and Fisherman’s Bastion, where you can admire spectacular views across the city.

The remainder of the day is at leisure. As evening falls, experience Budapest beautifully illuminated along the Danube. The ship remains docked overnight.

This morning, arrive in Esztergom, one of Hungary’s most historic cities and the country’s former royal capital. It was here that Stephen I, Hungary’s first king, was crowned in the year 1000.

Enjoy time to explore the city and admire the impressive Esztergom Basilica, the largest church in Hungary and one of the city’s most important landmarks.

Around lunchtime, return to the ship and begin your journey back toward Vienna. This evening, enjoy the Captain’s Dinner on board as your Danube cruise draws to a memorable close.
