"The tour director Mini from South Korea was considerate, thoughtful and very detailed oriented. She was proud of her country and provided many historical details and insights for each site that we visited. The itinerary was well planned except the APEC visit which was basically a government building. That should be omitted from future itineraries. The tour guide Mimi for the Japan tour was not confident in speaking English and did not really provide any details or knowledge of the sites that we visited. Would have be helpful to have a Japanese guide instead. Would have been nice to actually visit the inside of the Osaka castle instead of viewing it from the outside. Felt kind of rushed. We wasted quite a bit of time travelling back and forth to Kyoto - almost 4 hours travel time between Osaka and Kyoto. We should have reduce our stay in Osaka and stayed in Kyoto 1 night instead. No one was happy about that. The Grand Hotel Hamamatsu was awful and felt like we were staying at a motel from the 60’s. Still have nightmares about it. The rest of the hotels were pretty decent. It was too bad that we were not provided with whisper kits for both portions of the tour- it was frustrating for both the travellers and tour guide to constantly have to repeat directions. To recap - we had a great time with the group of 20 travellers and would definitely use Tripoppo again !"
