Today's highlight is a visit to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China, the most iconic symbol of China’s rich history. En route to the Great Wall, stop at one of Asia’s largest Jade Exhibitions to learn about jade's cultural significance in China. Climb a portion of this magnificent 3,700-mile structure and take in the breathtaking views. On the return journey, drive past the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, two architectural marvels built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and symbols of modern China. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

In the afternoon,  you may join the optional Tour to the legendary Summer Palace (US$65/person, Min. 10 Guests) , the resort of the Empress Dowager. Enjoy a serene boat ride across the lake, soaking in the breathtaking views, then meander through the expansive palace grounds, capturing the essence of royal leisure.

After breakfast, visit a traditional Chinese health center to discover the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture and herbal remedies.

Later, we will take high-speed train or flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your local tour representative and transfer to Suzhou, a city renowned for its canals and classical gardens. Check into your hotel and relax for the evening.

Next, visit a Silk Museum to learn about silk production—from silkworm to exquisite fabrics. In the afternoon, transfer to Wuxi.

Today, embark on the modern high-speed rail bound for Xi’an. Over a period for more than 2000 years, Xi’an was the capital of eleven dynasties. Upon arrival, visit an Art Ceramics Factory before visiting Ancient City Wall. It is the most complete ancient military defense systems in the world. Then enjoy the unique Shaanxi dinner in local restaurant. 

Tonight, you may join the optional visit to the Grand Tang Everbright City (US$69/person). It is a 2,100-meter-long pedestrian mall in Xi'an. The design theme is inspired by Tang Dynasty, You may try on a Tang Dynasty costume, the traditional attire of the Chinese people to immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife in the Tang Dynasty.

Today, embark the flight for Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Upon arrival, explore Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alleys), a charming area showcasing Chengdu's historical and modern blend with traditional courtyards and trendy shops. In the evening, enjoy a night tour of Jinli Street, a vibrant pedestrian street famous for its Sichuanese snacks, handicrafts, and lively atmosphere. Then return to hotel and overnight in Chengdu.

Begin the day with a heart-warming visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where travellers can watch adorable pandas munching bamboo, napping, and playing in their natural-style enclosures.
