Day 1: North America - Amsterdam

Day 2: Amsterdam

Transfer to port after arrival. Embarkation starts at 2 PM. you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a city, but it is also a country by itself, “a small nation inside a large one”, wrote Geert Mak in “Amsterdam: a brief life of the city”. The city is distinguished by its three rings of canals lined by elaborately decorated merchants' residences and warehouses built in the 17th century, the Dutch Golden Age. There are more than 1200 bridges and 165 canals throughout the city, and they are just part of the biggest attractions in Amsterdam. After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of the city and find out all attractions with our tour guide. Lunch will serve on board after the morning tour. Welcome cocktail and safety instruction in the lounge followed by the Welcome Gala Dinner.

Day 4: Cologne

Awake this morning in Cologne, one of the highlight cities in this trip. Cologne can trace its roots back to the first century AD, when it was established as a Roman provincial capital and military stronghold, and one of its most appealing features for tourists is that it retains elements from all the various periods of its long history. Near the left bank of the Rhine, Cologne’s towering landmake, the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Mary, is a UNESCO word heritage site.

Day 5: Koblenz-Rudesheim

Our cruise will dock in Koblenz this morning; it boasts many other well-preserved historic attractions, from sumptuous old palaces to some of the oldest churches in Germany. It is also perfect position to explore the UNESCO world heritage portion of the Rhine Valley. You are free at leisure today or join the walking tour for EUR55.

Day 6: Mannheim-Heidelberg

Upon arrive in Mannheim, we can start our morning tour to Heidelberg. The symbol of Heidelberg is its Castle, perched on the slopes of Mountain Konigstuhl some 70m above the Neckar. From the Castle, a path takes you straight down into the old town, which features an important site of remembrance amid its beautiful streets.

Day 7: Strasbourg

Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region of France and is most widely known for hosting a number of important European institutions. Nothing prepares you for your first glimpse of Strasbourg’s Cathedral Notre – Dame, completed in all its Gothic grandeur in 1439. After the morning walking tour in Strasbourg, return to ship for lunch.

Day 8: Basel

Our cruise continues to Basel. Join the walking tour to immerse yourself in the vibrant cultural scene and explore the picturesque Old Town, renowned museums, and stunning Rhine River views during a Basel city tour, uncovering the dynamic blend of Swiss tradition and contemporary creativity that defines this captivating city. Tonight, Captain’s Farewell cocktail in the lounge followed by Farewell dinner.

Day 9: Basel disembarkation - Berne - Lucerne

Our cruise ends in Basel, but our journey has not finished yet. After disembarkation, transfer to Berne. Discover the charming medieval streets and UNESCO-listed attractions on a guided Berne city tour, exploring the rich history and cultural heritage of Switzerland's capital. Then transfer to Lucerne and overnight in Lucerne.

Day 10: Lucerne

After breakfast, you will discover this beauty and charm town on a walking tour. The iconic Lion Monument, which you’ll visit, was sculpted in memory for the Swiss Guards massacred during the French Revolution in 1792. Walking along the Lake Lucerne and enjoy the view of Mt. Pilatus and Riji, that is how life should be. This afternoon is free at leisure, you may have a chance to try local delicacies.

Today is free at leisure to explore this magical city on your own. Or, you may join our optional Half-day trip to Mt Pilatus. Pilatus.
