Embark on an overnight flight to Beijing.

Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

After lunch, you may immerse yourself in Beijing's unique culture and wildlife with this engaging tour: Pandas & Historic Hutongs Tour (US$89/person) Meet China's adorable giant panda at the Beijing Zoo, learning about vital conservation efforts.  Followed by a Hutong Tricycle Tour: Explore Beijing's historic hutongs on a traditional tricycle tour, discovering the authentic charm and lifestyle of local residents.

Today's highlight is a visit to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China, the most iconic symbol of China’s rich history. En route to the Great Wall, stop at one of Asia’s largest Jade Exhibitions to learn about jade's cultural significance in China. Climb a portion of this magnificent 3,700-mile structure and take in the breathtaking views. Here, you'll be captivated by stunning stone carvings and ancient watchtowers that gracefully wind along the majestic mountain ranges, enhancing the grandeur of this historical landmark. With a picnic-style lunch included, you can fully immerse yourself in this architectural masterpiece at your own pace, soaking in its breathtaking scenery. On the return journey, drive past the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, two architectural marvels built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and symbols of modern China. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

In the afternoon,  you may join the optional Tour to the legendary Summer Palace (US$65/person, Min. 10 Guests) Discover the elegance of UNESCO-listed imperial garden featuring serene lakes, graceful pavilions, and stunning classical landscapes.

Note: For departures from November 2025 to March 2026, the boat ride on the lake at the Summer Palace will not be available due to seasonal closure. A replacement dinner will be provided during this period.

You may also join the Heavenly Palace Caisson & Hot Pot Meal (US$55/person) to Marvel at the Ming Dynasty Heavenly Palace Caisson at the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum, a masterpiece featuring an ancient star map and celestial pavilions. After breakfast, visit a traditional Chinese health center to discover the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture and herbal remedies.

Later, we will take high-speed train or flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your local tour representative and transfer to Suzhou, a city renowned for its canals and classical gardens. Check into your hotel and relax for the evening.

Start the morning with a visit to the Lingering Garden, a UNESCO-listed classical Chinese garden and a masterpiece of traditional landscaping. Suzhou, often called the “Venice of the East,” is defined by its charming canals.

You may choose an optional Grand Canal Cruise (US$50/person) to experience Suzhou’s waterways and witness local life along China’s historic golden waterway.

Next, visit a Silk Museum to learn about silk production—from silkworm to exquisite fabrics. In the afternoon, transfer to Wuxi.

In the afternoon, transfer to Hangzhou, famously described by Marco Polo as “the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world.”
