Here, you'll be captivated by stunning stone carvings and ancient watchtowers that gracefully wind along the majestic mountain ranges, enhancing the grandeur of this historical landmark. With a picnic-style lunch included, you can fully immerse yourself in this architectural masterpiece at your own pace, soaking in its breathtaking scenery. On the return journey, drive past the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, two architectural marvels built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and symbols of modern China. In the afternoon, you may join the optional Tour to the legendary Summer Palace (US$65/person, Min. 10 Guests) Discover the elegance of UNESCO-listed imperial garden featuring serene lakes, graceful pavilions, and stunning classical landscapes.
Note: For departures from November 2025 to March 2026, the boat ride on the lake at the Summer Palace will not be available due to seasonal closure. A replacement dinner will be provided during this period.
