Istanbul, Magic Cappadocia

Get to the heart of Turkish culture and history on this Fabulous Turkey adventure. You'll marvel at Istanbul's Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Grand Bazaar. Explore the hand-forged cave churches of Cappadocia in a landscape of towering wind-carved fairy chimneys. Discover the ancient Greek sites of Ephesus and Aphrodisias; and the azure water of the Mediterranean. You'll also experience legendary Turkish hospitality firsthand, from artisants to imams.

About This Trip

This tour involves moderate physical activity, with daily walking for 3-4 hours over uneven surfaces and stairs at ancient sightseeing places in Turkey. Bus rides between Istanbul - Canakkale - Izmir - Pamukkale - Konya - Cappadocia are 4-5 hours. People with knee or back problems may not be suitable for visiting Cappadocia's underground cities, which have narrow passages that may require crouching. Turkey is a country with a predominantly Muslim population, and alcohol consumption is subject to certain restrictions in accordance with Islamic laws and customs. In some hotels, there may be designated alcohol-free zones, and it is important to respect these areas and not consume alcohol in public spaces where it is prohibited. Cappadocia Cave Hotels offer a unique and authentic experience, but caves tend to have higher levels of humidity because they are partially underground and may not have proper ventilation systems.
