Upon arrival, transfer to port for embarkation. Enjoy a scenic morning cruise through the Douro Valley, admiring its spectacular terraced vineyards and picturesque river landscapes. Arrive in Régua around midday, located in the heart of the historic Douro wine region. In the afternoon, continue to Pinhão, renowned for its Port wine estates and beautiful historic railway station decorated with traditional Portuguese tiles. Overnight on board in Pinhão.

Depart from Villa Nova de Gaia Quay, facing Porto and the Dom Luis I Bridge. Porto, Portugal's second-largest city, features a blend of grey facades, red tiles, and unique architectural gems along the Douro River. Its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will explore The Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Building), including the Tribunal Room, Golden Room, and Moorish Revival-style Arab Room. Next, see the Igreja de São Francisco (Church of Saint Francis), also known as the "Golden Church." After crossing the Dom Luis I Bridge back to Villa Nova de Gaia, we'll tour a wine cellar before returning to the boat. As the afternoon sun casts a golden glow, we'll sail through the stunning Douro Valley. Enjoy an evening of dancing or leisure time in Regua tonight.

Depart from Regua to Vila Real, known for its palaces and religious architecture. Enjoy a panoramic city tour and taste the local pastry, Cristas de Galo. Visit the 18th-century Mateus Palace, featuring a unique blend of granite and Baroque elements and a picturesque garden with a 115-foot cedar tunnel. Return to the ship in Regua. Overnight onboard.

Depart by coach to Salamanca, where you'll meet your guides. Since 1988, Salamanca's Old Town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the cathedral, showcasing a blend of late Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Then, explore one of the world's oldest universities, founded in 1218, known as "Escuelas Mayores." Its gate features the famous design of a frog atop a skull, symbolizing the punishment of lust. Enjoy lunch and free time to explore the city on your own. Return to the ship in Vega de Teron for an evening of entertainment.

Depart from Ferradosa for an excursion along the Porto wine route, exploring vineyards stretching over 100 km along the Douro River to the Spanish border. Visit the small towns of San Salvador do Mundo and Sao Joao da Pesqueira in the Rio Torto valley. In Sao Joao da Pesqueira, explore the arcaded main square, the chapel, and white houses with balconies. Visit a quinta (wine cellar) to taste the famous Porto wine. Return to the ship in Pinhao.

Depart from Regua to Lamego for a guided tour of the city center. Lamego, a charming episcopal and commercial town, is home to the Nossa Senhora dos Remedios Sanctuary. This 18th-century church features a striking white façade and a Baroque staircase with 686 steps ending in a rocaille-style shrine adorned with azulejos. Construction began on February 14, 1750, resulting in a massive temple that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding misty mountains. Return to the ship in Regua.

This morning, enjoy time at leisure in Porto. We'll leave by coach from Porto for Guimarães. With our guide, we'll begin the tour of this university town on foot to discover its historical treasures. We'll get the chance to discover the Nossa Senhora de Oliveira Church (outdoors), the most important religious building in the city. The medieval heart of Guimarães is a labyrinth of lanes and picturesque plazas framed by 14th-century buildings. We'll continue on to the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, a medieval estate and former residence of the first Dukes of Braganza with striking architecture. Return on board in Porto. Enjoy an evening of traditional folk entertainment.

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembark. Then transfer to Lisbon. The city tour begins with a stop at the top of Edward VII’s Park to enjoy a magnificent view over the hills of Lisbon and the River Tagus. Next, view the treasured 16th century Belem Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, visit the Cathedral of Lisbon and enjoy the elegant Liberdade Avenue. Then transfer to the hotel in Lisbon.
