Today travel to Leshan to admire the Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a relaxing boat tour for a spectacular view of the world's largest stone Buddha statue carved into the cliffside. Return to Chengdu, explore Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alleys), a charming area showcasing Chengdu's historical and modern blend with traditional courtyards and trendy shops,  then return to hotel and overnight in Chengdu. 

In the evening, you may watch the optional Sichuan Opera Face-Changing Show (US$45/person)  showcasing the magic of Sichuan’s world-famous performance — a mesmerizing art form from traditional Sichuan Opera. Watch in awe as performers change vividly painted masks in the blink of an eye, using dazzling movements, music, and dramatic gestures. This centuries-old secret skill showcases the grace, mystery, and artistry of Sichuan’s cultural heritage.

Take high-speed train to Zhangjiajie, a land of surreal beauty and soaring quartz-sandstone peaks. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in.  The rest of the day at leisure. 

You may join an optional excursion to Tianmen Mountain National Park (US$85/person), famed for one of the world’s longest cable cars and breathtaking views. Glide above the misty cliffs to the “Heaven’s Gate”, a natural rock arch steeped in legend. Prepare to step into a scene straight from Avatar! Explore the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a wonderland of mist-shrouded spires and deep valleys.
Ride the Tianzi Mountain cable car for panoramic views, then visit Yuanjiajie, home to the famed “Hallelujah Mountains” that inspired the film. Enjoy gentle hikes to scenic lookouts before descending the cliffs by the Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor lift. Experience nature’s majesty from above, below, and within—every moment a photo masterpiece. 

In the afternoon, you may join the optional visit to Huanglong Cave (US$55/person). Explore the breathtaking Huanglong Dong, one of China’s most magnificent karst caves. Wander through a stunning underground world of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and shimmering pools, all beautifully illuminated. Known as the “magical palace beneath the earth,” this vast cavern system reveals nature’s incredible artistry, with winding passages and hidden chambers that leave every visitor in awe.

Today stroll along Golden Whip Stream, a tranquil valley path surrounded by towering peaks and crystal-clear waters. Continue to the Ten-Mile Gallery, where whimsical rock formations line the route like an open-air art museum.

Today transfer to the airport for your flight to the magical Guilin, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, is a gem in southern China. Surrounded by dramatic karst mountains and picturesque rivers, Guilin's beauty has inspired poets and artists for centuries. 

Upon arrival, visit the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin’s most famous landmark. Shaped like a giant elephant drinking from the Li River.  Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Guilin. 

This evening, you may join the optional "Two Rivers and Four Lakes" Boat Ride (US$40/person)
Enjoy a serene night cruise on Guilin’s Two Rivers and Four Lakes, where the city’s beauty comes alive under shimmering lights. Glide past elegant bridges, ancient pagodas, and lush willow trees reflected on the water’s surface.

Alternatively, you may join the optional excurion to Yangshuo(US$80/person). Start with a visit to Fuli Ancient Town, a charming historic town rich in local culture. Then enjoy a bamboo raft cruise along the Fuli section of the Li River, taking in stunning scenery and perhaps spotting fishermen with cormorant birds while on board. In the afternoon, explore the Yangshuo countryside and enjoy free time there. With over 1,400 years of history, featuring a mix of traditional culture and international influences. Return to your hotel in Guilin after the day’s adventure.

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Begin the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the second-largest public square in the world. Next, explore the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest, best-preserved imperial palace complexes in existence.

In the afternoon, you may join the optional Tour to the legendary Summer Palace (US$65/person, Min. 10 Guests) , the resort of the Empress Dowager. Enjoy a serene boat ride across the lake, soaking in the breathtaking views, then meander through the expansive palace grounds, capturing the essence of royal leisure. 

Note: For departures from November 2025 to March 2026, the boat ride on the lake at the Summer Palace will not be available due to seasonal closure. A replacement dinner will be provided during this period.
